A family business that’s serious about customer care

Rhino Blinds’ owners Andre and Marlien van Heerden came to New Zealand in 2016 from South Africa where they had been active in the same industry and had a similar business. Soon after settling in NZ with their family, they explored the possibilities of finding suppliers to manufacture high quality blinds, shades and related outdoor living solutions here. Rhino Blinds Ltd. was established in 2017.

Thanks to their extensive knowledge of the products and the industry, the business grew fast. Rhino Blinds now has 10 consultants in the North Island that represent the brand. Andre oversees sales and provides training to the consultants, and Marlien runs the office as Rhino Blinds’ admin & accounts manager. The aim is to continue growing Rhino Blinds and eventually service the whole of New Zealand, including the South Island.

What sets this family business apart is a personal approach, quick responses, and an unmatched customer and after sale service. No job is too small, and the whole team is passionate about delivering the best possible solutions. This passion also shows in support for the community.
